Privacy
Privacy policy.
This page explains what byrachealblackmore.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose, because a policy only protects you if you can read it.
Effective July 19, 2026
The short version.
- We collect what you choose to give us: an email address when you subscribe to On Connection or join the SEEN waitlist, and whatever you share when you write to us or book a call.
- We use it to send you what you asked for and to reply to you. Nothing else.
- We do not sell personal information, and this site does not run advertising trackers.
- What clients share in an engagement is held in confidence, and testimonials are published only with permission.
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Who we are.
byrachealblackmore.com is the home of Racheal Blackmore's consulting and writing practice, operated by Blackmore Marketing Solutions. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Racheal and the small team behind that business. The policy covers this website, the On Connection newsletter, the SEEN book waitlist, and the ways you can contact us through them.
Information you give us.
You can read the entire site without telling us anything. We only hold personal information you choose to share, and it arrives in a few ways.
- The newsletter signup collects your email address, so we can send you On Connection.
- The SEEN waitlist collects your email address, so we can tell you about the book when there is something real to share.
- Anything you send by email, including what you share when inquiring about working together.
- The inquiry form collects your name, email, an optional website, and whatever you choose to share about your business, so we can consider working together and reply.
- If we schedule a call together after your inquiry, booking happens on Calendly, which collects your name, email, and the time you choose under its own privacy policy. We receive those details so we can hold the call.
Information collected automatically.
This site is a set of pages served by our hosting provider. Like any web host, it keeps standard server logs, which include things like your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps. Those logs exist to run and secure the site, not to profile you. The site itself does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
The letter and the waitlist.
On Connection delivers one small messaging reframe to your inbox each week. The SEEN waitlist exists to tell you about the book. We use your email address for those purposes and nothing else. It is stored with the email service provider that sends on our behalf, every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and we never sell, rent, or swap the list.
Working with Racheal.
When you inquire about an engagement, book a discovery call, or apply to work together, we use what you share to reply to you, to understand your business, and, if we work together, to do the work. Client materials, brand strategy, numbers, and anything else shared inside an engagement are held in confidence, used only to serve that engagement, and never published or used as marketing without your written permission.
Testimonials and featured praise.
The kind words on this site are real, from real clients, published with permission and shown with the name or business the client chose to share. If your words are featured and you would like them updated, anonymized, or removed, contact us and we will do it promptly.
How we use information.
Everything above comes down to four uses. We use your information to send you what you asked for, to reply to you, to run and secure the site, and to meet legal obligations if they arise. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles of you, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with.
We share personal information only with the service providers that make this work: our hosting provider, our domain registrar, the email service provider that stores the list and delivers the letter, and the scheduling service that handles call bookings. Each processes it on our behalf and only for that purpose. Beyond that, we would disclose information only if required by law or to protect someone's rights or safety, and, if the business were ever restructured or transferred, information could move with it, with notice to you.
Cookies and embedded content.
The site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Client story videos on the testimonials page play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player: nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and once you do, YouTube may set cookies and collect data under its own policy. If another embedded provider is ever added, we will name it here too.
Your rights.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can unsubscribe from the letter or the waitlist at any time using the link in any email. To make a request, email hello@byrachealblackmore.com and tell us what you would like done. We may ask you to confirm you are who you say you are, and we will respond within the time your local law requires, or within 30 days if no law sets one.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.
The General Data Protection Regulation, and its UK and Swiss equivalents, apply to you. Our legal bases for processing are consent, for the newsletter and the waitlist; legitimate interests, for responding to messages and securing the site; contract, for work we do together; and legal obligation, where the law requires. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are in California.
The California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any California right, email us, and we will respond within 45 days.
Where your information is processed.
We operate from the United States, and so do our service providers. Information you submit from outside the United States is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from your country's. Where the law requires safeguards for that transfer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses for information from the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards our service providers have in place.
How long we keep information.
Messages and inquiries are kept as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterward. Newsletter and waitlist addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Client engagement records are kept as long as professional and legal obligations require. When you ask us to delete something, we do, unless the law requires us to keep it, and our providers may hold residual backup copies for a short period before those cycle out.
Security.
We keep the footprint small on purpose. The site collects little, stores nothing itself, and relies on established providers with industry-standard security. Traffic to the site and email in transit are encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but collecting less is the strongest protection there is.
Children.
This site is written for business owners and marketing professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites.
The site links out to other places: Calendly for bookings, the client portal, LinkedIn, podcast platforms, and The Messaging Lab, which is a separate product with its own privacy policy. Once you leave byrachealblackmore.com, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies, and we encourage you to read it.
Changes to this policy.
When this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and if a change is material we will flag it on the site or in the letter. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means the updated policy applies.
Contact.
Questions about this policy, requests about your information, and anything that reads as less than clear can go to hello@byrachealblackmore.com. We will get back to you as quickly as we can, and within any timeframe the law requires.
